Docia Dishroon

Docia Disharoon, 14 Sep 1856 - 15 Feb 1945 (per Find A Grave and Ancestry). Lived most of her life in Randolph County, AL. Docia is not in my line and I'm posting her picture in hopes that one day someone will search for her and find this treasure.

This picture came from my great grandmother, Susie Lowe Bolt's (1899-1984) home, and it could have been belonged to either of her parents, John Henry Lowe (1858-1929) and Mary Chappell (1874-1963) or the parents of James Olin Bolt (Susie's husband) (1900-1971), Columbus Franklin Bolt (187401940) and Leola Barronton (1876-1917).

John Henry Lowe had 2 wives prior to Mary Chappell (that is a long dramatic story) so maybe Docia Disharoon was friends with Mary Alice Sorrells (1868-1891) or Lizzie Thompson (died soon after marriage). I will tell more of this story soon.

I just hope Miss Docia Disharoon finds her family.
